Under what circumstances need to replace the brake pads

1, when the thickness of the brake pads is less than the minimum maintenance standard allowed by the vehicle manufacturer;

2, when the brake pads on the wear and tear when the contact with the brake disc;

3, the brake pads are oil or grease pollution;

4, the brake pads are abnormal wear or cone wear.

Under normal circumstances, if the fixed brake calipers on both sides of the brake pad thickness difference of 15mm, the floating brake calipers on both sides of the brake pad thickness difference of 3.0mm need to be replaced. Of course, only through a simple appearance can not accurately determine whether the brake pads are worn, so generally should be ruler to measure the thinnest brake pads to see whether within the allowable range
